What are Phobias?

Standing on the roof of a 20 storey building looking over the edge in a howling gale and you are frightened……………. Of course you are. We all are………….it’s natural. Rational fears protect us.  Unless and until they become irrational. Fears become irrational when we start to imagine the fear affecting us in situations where we know we are in no danger.

A phobia is an example of one trial learning and is an irrational reaction to an unexplained situation. Phobias are commonplace with an estimated one in 20 people having a phobic reaction to something.

Phobias limit your life and can cause unnecessary stress, which in turn is accepted as being bad for your health in an already stressful society. Everybody has fears but we can show you how to control them instead of them controlling you. 

A phobia can easily be dealt with which will enable you to live a phobia free life.  How would you feel if you no longer had your fear?
